Walker Diving’s work consisted of installing an epoxy belt around the bridge pier pilings in the areas experiencing concrete spalling.  A flat panel fiberglass system was developed which permitted a continuous epoxy layer to be installed while also sealing around the  horizontal beams.  Additionally, grout bags and grout mats were pumped in place around the bridge pier footings to restore the bottom elevation and prevent further undermining.  Finally, Walker Diving replaced the deteriorated timber fender with a composite timber fender system.
