Walker Diving installed an epoxy belt around the bridge pier pilings to repair the spalled concrete. A flat panel fiberglass system was developed which permitted a continuous epoxy layer to be installed while also sealing around the horizontal beams. Grout bags and mats were pumped in place around the bridge footings to restore the bottom elevation and prevent future undermining. Finally, Walker Diving replaced the deteriorated timber fender with a composite timber fender system. (2013)
